2025/26 Annual Report: A Year of Listening, Reflecting and Recommitting
Published by The Dulverton Truston 14 Aug 2026
We are proud to share our 2025/26 Annual Report, which summarises our key activities over the past year.
This year has been one of reflection and change for The Dulverton Trust. Following the sale of our office building, which has long been our home, we have taken a moment to recognise the role it has played over many years, not only as a base for the Trust, but as a space that welcomed and supported a wide range of charitable organisations. We are proud of the contributions it made, and of the many connections and collaborations it enabled.
Alongside this transition, we have undertaken a comprehensive review of our funding priorities over the past five years. This has provided valuable insight into where our support has made a difference, as well as helping us to identify emerging trends and future opportunities. It is an important step in ensuring that our priorities remain relevant, informed and effective.
The context in which charities operate continues to be challenging. Economic uncertainty, rising costs and increasing demand for services mean that many organisations are under sustained pressure. We recognise the importance of remaining a responsive funder in this environment: one that listens, adapts, and provides support where it is most needed.
We were delighted to award 71 new grants to charities across our priority areas this year. Joining the 30 charities already supported by the Trust, these organisations brought our active portfolio to 101 charities at the year end. We awarded a total of £3,811,181 – 39% of it going towards core costs.
Our sincere thanks go to the charities and partners we work alongside. Over the past year we have continued to be inspired by your dedication, insight and determination. In communities across the country and beyond, you are responding to growing need with compassion, innovation and an unwavering commitment to the people and environments you serve.
This also reminds us why consistency matters. As a Trust, we aim to be clear and steady about who we are and what we stand for, and our commitment to the organisations we support is unchanged. We’ll keep building on what we’ve learned – staying responsive while holding to our long-term purpose and working openly with the sector to help create lasting change.
