Join our small team as Grants Manager

Published by The Dulverton Truston 2 Oct 2026

The Dulverton Trust is an independent grant-making trust that has been funding UK charities since 1949. Good funding depends on good judgement, so we aim to be rigorous, fair and straightforward to deal with, and we take every application as seriously as the charity behind it takes its cause.

We’re now looking for a Grants Manager to join our small, friendly team, where everyone’s input counts. You’d get to know the charities we fund and help us decide where our grants can add the most value.

It’s a varied job. One week you might be reading an application and talking it through with the applicant, the next you’re on a train to visit a project, then writing up your findings for our Trustees. You’ll also share what we’re learning with other funders and represent the Trust at events.

You’ll be based in London with the team together three or four days a week and the option to work from home the rest, plus some flexibility around our busiest periods and partner visits.

If you’re an organised, empathetic communicator who wants to support charities as a critical friend, we’d love to hear from you.

Find the full job description and application form below and send your completed form, plus your CV, to recruitment@dulverton.org by 10am on Monday 26 October.

If you’re shortlisted, we’ll invite you to a first-round interview online on Tuesday 10 or Wednesday 11 November, and a final interview at our London office on Wednesday 18 November. It’s worth putting these dates in your diary now.

If you have any questions, just get in touch with the office.
